Standard First Aid with CPR-C
The Standard First Aid with CPR-C course is a comprehensive and advanced first aid program designed for individuals who want a deeper understanding of emergency care. This course includes all Emergency First Aid content and expands into more complex medical and trauma situations.
What you’ll learn:
• All Emergency First Aid skills
• CPR-C for adults, children, and infants
• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Management of spinal injuries
• Heat- and cold-related emergencies
• Bone and joint injuries and chest trauma
• Medical emergencies such as diabetic shock, seizures, poisoning, and allergic reactions
• Legal responsibilities and considerations when providing first aid

Certification Validity
• 36 months from the date of issue
Instruction
• Taught by certified First Aid Instructors
Certification
• Certifications are issued only by certified Lifesaving Society First Aid Examiners
Recognition
• Official Lifesaving Society certification card

• Canadian First Aid Manual or Canadian Lifesaving Manual
